      Delivery Information

      • The image displayed is indicative in nature.
      • Actual product may vary in shape or design as per the availability. The number of leaves and the size of the plant depends on seasonal availability.
      • Since plants are seasonal in nature, flowering plants might be delivered without them.
      • A majority of our orders are delivered on time as per the time slot selected.
      • This is not met in very rare cases where the situation is beyond our control viz., traffic congestion enroute, remote address for delivery, etc.
      • The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address once the order is prepared for delivery.
      • Although we try not to, occasionally substitution of plants are done due to temporary and/or regional unavailability issues.

      Care Instructions

      • Water : Water the plant until it runs from the drainage holes. Once water drips from the bottom of the pot, stop watering and empty the saucer. To prevent root rot, make sure your plant is never standing in water.
      • Temperature : To survive and thrive, Pachira aquatica needs temperatures above 15 degrees celsius This plant needs a temperature above 15 °C, and you can keep it both inside and outside if the temperature meets this requirement.
      • Light : Even if your apartment doesn't get a lot of natural light, it's still a good environment for Pachira aquatica. In fact, your plant may be more likely to thrive there, since Pachira aquatica plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can burn their leaves, so find a spot away from the window.
      • Fertilizing : Feed once a month in the spring and summer when it is producing new leaves with a water-soluble, well-balanced plant food at half the recommended strength. No fertilizer is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.
      • Pachira aquatica is a tree of seasonally inundated plains of Central and South America. It is often cultivated as an ornamental and has been introduced for this purpose in the USA, the Antilles, Paraguay and many Old World countries, where it is sold mostly as an indoor plant under the name “money tree”.
