Hari Raya, popularly known as the ‘Day of Celebration’ is an important religious festival celebrated by the Muslims in Singapore. It is an annual celebration that marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. In the year 2023, Hari Raya will be observed on 22nd April, Saturday. On this day, Muslims offer prayers in mosque and later visit the grave to pay homage to the departed souls of loved ones. People wear new clothes, greet friends and family, and relish traditional foods and sweets.
