When is Daughters Day?

Every year International Daughter’s Day is celebrated on the 4th Sunday of September. For the year 2023, this day will be observed on 24th September. Take a look at the below list for the future Daughter’s Day celebration dates.

2023 24th September
2024 22nd September
2025 28th September
2026 27th September
2027 26th September

Although the observance originated from India, many other countries picked it on. The United Nations even dedicated a day; 11th October, to the girl child called International Day of Girls. Also commonly known as the Day of Girls. The motive of the observation is to build awareness against worldwide gender inequality in the hope to eradicate it. This bias is rampant in numerous parts of the world. The girl child is deprived of various basic amenities and opportunities like the right to education, basic nutrition, medical care, protection against domestic violence, legal rights and so much more. In advanced countries, a large number of underaged girls are illegally married off without their consent. However, in recent years, World Daughter’s Day has been seen as a revolution. It has helped transform society into not just accepting daughters but looking at them as a blessing. Now, a daughter is considered a boon and has become a matter of pride amongst a large number of families.
