      Delivery Information

      • The image displayed is indicative in nature.
      • Actual product may vary in shape or design as per the availability. The number of leaves and the size of the plant depends on seasonal availability.
      • Since plants are seasonal in nature, flowering plants might be delivered without them.
      • A majority of our orders are delivered on time as per the time slot selected.
      • This is not met in very rare cases where the situation is beyond our control viz., traffic congestion enroute, remote address for delivery, etc.
      • The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address once the order is prepared for delivery.
      • Although we try not to, occasionally substitution of plants are done due to temporary and/or regional unavailability issues.

      Care Instructions

      • Water : Water once the soil begins to dry out. Do not overwater and ensure the plant has proper drainage to prevent root rot.
      • Temperature : Average household temperatures above 18°C. Needs a minimum of 10°C in winter and at night.
      • Light : The Chamaedorea does like light, but not direct sunlight. A spot in the semi-shade is therefore the best solution. Place the plant in front of a window on the north. When the plant starts to have yellow leaves, this means that the plant gets too much light and you need to provide more shade.
      • Fertilizing : Use an organic liquid fertilizer or a chemical fertilizer diluted to 1/2 strength. Ponytail Palms should be fertilized once or twice per month during the growing season and once a month in the winter.
      • Chamaedorea, commonly called parlor palm or neanthe bella palm, is a small, compact, usually single-trunked palm that is native to rainforests from southeastern Mexico to northern Guatemala. Where winter hardy, it will rise to 5-6' tall in shady areas of the landscape.
